Our Mission Money sitting idle is money lost. We're fixing that. Founded in 2023 by Antoine and Paul-Adrien, Spiko gives businesses, non-profits, financial advisers, and fintechs access to institutional-grade cash management, via app or API. We are building the full infrastructure: issuing, operating, and distributing the products ourselves. Two years after launch, we serve thousands of organizations across Europe and process hundreds of millions of euros in flows every month. Our ambition: become the world's leading treasury management infrastructure in a market worth trillions. We are backed by Index Ventures, the CEO of Revolut, the founder of Kyriba, and the CTO of Wise. Spiko runs on excellence, transparency, and straight talk.
The role: Spiko is building its UK business, and wealth management is central to it. Advisers and managers hold client cash every day, and they need modern, regulated options to manage it well. As Head of Wealth Sector (UK), you own Spiko's presence in the UK wealth management sector. Your mission is to make Spiko a known and trusted option when IFAs, wealth managers and platforms think about cash, and to turn that recognition into partnerships and assets on the platform. This is a semi-leadership seat: you set the sector strategy, hold the number for AuM from wealth, and shape the playbook that later hires in the sector will follow. You'll report to the GM, and work closely with the Product and Marketing teams, and with the Spiko Embedded team on technology provider and platform partnerships.
Your AuM comes from three routes, and you own all of them:
- Partnership: formal relationships with wealth managers, IFA networks, platforms and technology providers that bring Spiko to many clients at once.
- Referral: clients introduced by advisers and managers, with you owning the AuM those referrals generate.
- Direct: wealth firms using Spiko for their own cash and treasury.
Success means Spiko is a known and trusted option for cash among UK wealth managers, IFAs and the technology providers that serve them, with a live partnership programme, a regular events and content calendar that generates measurable pipeline, and a sector AuM figure you own, forecast and consistently grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationships and partnerships: You will build and maintain relationships with IFAs and IFA networks, traditional wealth managers, discretionary managers, family offices, platforms and technology providers. You will design and negotiate partnership and referral structures, and own the AuM they deliver. You will map the UK wealth landscape, prioritise target firms and partners, and run a disciplined account plan for each. You will support the Spiko Embedded team on opportunities with technology providers and platforms: you bring the relationships and sector insight, and the Embedded team owns those opportunities.
- Sales: You and your sales team will sell Spiko to wealth firms for client cash and for their own treasury. You will run discovery, presentations and due diligence conversations with partners, compliance teams, investment committees and operations leads, and guide firms through onboarding with care and precision. You will own a revenue and AuM target, forecast accurately, and keep the CRM current.
- Marketing and events: You will drive the sector marketing and events agenda: host and sponsor events, speak at industry forums, and build Spiko's presence in the UK wealth community. You will work with the marketing team on sector content, case studies and campaigns that speak to advisers and managers. You will turn events and introductions into a measurable pipeline.
- Product feedback: You will bring the needs of advisers, managers and their clients back to the product organisation, with clear evidence and priorities. You will help shape propositions, integrations and onboarding for the wealth segment.
- Leadership: You will act as the senior voice of Spiko in the UK wealth sector, with the GM and with partners. You will lead a sales team. You will set the sector playbook, reporting cadence and targets, and mentor the sellers who work alongside you. You will help scope and hire the next members of the sector team as AuM grows.
