About the role:
Responsible for identifying and securing opportunities globally, working in conjunction with, and providing support to the Management Team. Providing support in creating an overall vision of how the business model can increase company growth. Build and maintain strong, long-term & strategic relationships with customers within the renewables sector to maximize brand awareness and exposure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop business opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Work collaboratively across the business to ensure we are engaging in relevant conversations with key accounts.
- Align strategic client management plans in collaboration with the Bids & Tendering Department.
- Work closely with the Bids Department to manage ongoing pipeline of opportunities.
- Manage and develop growth strategies to support ongoing engagement with customers, potential leads and progress with contract negotiations.
- Oversee and implement CRM system to monitor and improve customer engagement, increase productivity and efficiency to support in the sales process and improve relationships with clients.
- Undertake regular client/supplier relationship reviews to gather feedback and opportunities for improvement.
- Planning and implementation of lead generating marketing campaigns in line with business activities.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to develop individual client-targeted marketing strategies.
- Identify and monitor competitors, researching market conditions.
- Identify emerging markets and develop strategies to maximise early penetration, capitalising upon opportunities.
- Monitor global news in the renewable energy sector to identify new and upcoming opportunities.
- Identify and attend relevant exhibitions internationally to discover emerging openings.
- Manage key relationships with internal stakeholders, department leads, clients and resource providers.
- Work to strict deadlines and KPI's as agreed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Represent the business at regular domestic and international forums and events.
- Potential requirement to develop specific technical/product knowledge.
About you:
- Strong organisational, leadership and time management skills.
- Have an amenable talent for building relationships including having the ability to lead, formally and informally, team members and cross business engagement without bias.
- Professional recognised qualifications (Post Graduate Degree).
- Hands on project and/or industry experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of Fibre Optic and HV termination and testing, cable laying, pulling and rigging operations desirable.
- Candidates ideally should have a background in renewables, Electrical Engineering and Windfarms.
