Support Worker (Supported Housing) – Are you passionate about supporting those who are facing mental health and wellbeing challenges? They are looking for a Support Worker to join their Supported Housing team on either a full or part-time basis in Bury St Edmunds. Why them? Fantastic company package includes: * Salary: Starting from £23,088 – £24,858 per annum, depending on experience * Extra Shift Pay Scheme: work an extra shift as overtime, and don’t want to wait until payday, it can be paid within 3 working days * Holiday: 28 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays – option to buy and sell leave * Company Pension 4% employer contribution * Free Parking * Other benefits such as, Free Eye Tests, Sick Pay, Death in Service, Extensive Training, Flexible Working, Flu Jabs, Real Living Wage, Well-being support About the role: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling people to achieve their optimum level of independence. Your responsibilities will include: * Delivering support in line with individual care plans and risk assessments. * Completing necessary documentation within designated timescales. * Collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive approach. * Work closely with families and the wider community to promote sustained independence and personal growth. The company are open to discussing part-time and full-time opportunities. Working hours are varied, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis. About you: You will be a compassionate and resilient individual who thrives in challenging situations and possess a creative approach to problem-solving. You will have excellent communication skills to enable you to build strong, trusting relationships with the people who we support and colleagues alike. You have experience in empowering others and are committed to user involvement and equal opportunities. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are desirable but not essential. A successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to ensure the safety and well-being of the people they support.
