As the Purchasing Manager youll be working within a fast-paced Sales Purchasing department, where you will be responsible for leading the purchasing function, developing a high-performing team, managing stock and supplier relationships, and ensuring purchasing strategies support wider business objectives.

Responsibilities as the

Purchasing

Manager: Lead, motivate and develop the Purchasing team, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.

Take full accountability for the purchasing function, stock control and team output.

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Manage supplier relationships, negotiate favourable terms and review supplier performance.

Oversee stock purchasing from both parent company and third-party suppliers.

Manage import procedures and ensure efficient stock availability.

Work closely with the Logistics team to coordinate transport, warehouse capacity and incoming stock.

The successful Purchasing Manager will have: Previous experience in a Purchasing Manager or similar leadership role.

Proven experience managing and developing teams within a purchasing or supply chain environment.

Knowledge of purchasing, stock management, logistics and transport coordination.

Experience of import procedures and supplier management.

A successful track record of negotiating with suppliers.

Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across all areas of the business.
