About the role:

As a Press Operator, you will be immersed in our state-of-the-art production process, utilising your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. This hands-on, varied role ensures that no two days will be the same, allowing for both personal and professional growth. You will operate a large industrial iso-static press to produce high-quality ceramics, manage heavy tooling and equipment, and collaborate with our engineering team to enhance tooling and moulds.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate & maintain a large industrial iso-static press to produce high-quality ceramics.
  • Accurately mix materials to ensure consistency and quality in production.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to enhance tooling and moulds.
  • Manage heavy tooling and equipment, necessitating physical fitness and strength.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges proactively, applying practical problem-solving skills.
  • Help in the production of press tooling/bags using modern technology (CAD/additive Manufacturing)
  • Follow instructions accurately, and record data to support production trials for the growth of the business
  • At times you will be required to help with other production tasks, for example cutting and grinding

About You:

The ideal candidate will be an intelligent motivated and independent individual who is detail-oriented, physically fit, and a strong team player. While experience in operating machinery or working in manufacturing is a bonus, we are willing to train the right candidate. A desire to meet production targets, an eagerness to learn and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential traits we value. You must live within a within 30 miles of Newmarket to be considered for this role, with own transport to get there.
