About the role:

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive a professional, personal and responsive service. You will coordinate client communications, meetings and ongoing cases, making sure commitments are followed through and work progresses efficiently. This is a varied role that combines client relationship management, coordination and hands-on administration. You will respond to client enquiries, manage and prepare for meetings, keep cases moving, coordinate outsourced administration and maintain accurate CRM records. You will also use your judgement to identify what can be resolved independently, what should be delegated and what requires the adviser’s attention.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for client calls and emails, responding professionally and ensuring enquiries are followed through to the appropriate outcome
  • Coordinate client meetings and cases, including initial meetings, planning, implementation, annual reviews and follow-up activity
  • Manage client communications, providing clear updates, explaining next steps and ensuring requests are acknowledged and progressed
  • Keep cases moving by liaising with clients, providers and support teams, identifying delays and following up outstanding actions
  • Coordinate outsourced administration, providing clear instructions, delegating appropriate tasks and checking work has been completed accurately
  • Complete essential administration, including meeting preparation, CRM updates, record keeping and selected day-to-day administrative tasks

About You:

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be highly organised, proactive and confident building strong client relationships and taking ownership of tasks and outcomes. Excellent communication, attention to detail and sound judgement are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple clients, meetings and cases effectively. Experience within financial planning, wealth management or another regulated client-service environment is preferred, although relevant transferable experience will be considered. You will be confident using Outlook, Microsoft Office and CRM or workflow systems, with discretion when handling sensitive personal and financial information. This role does not involve providing regulated financial advice.

About them:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, established financial planning practice where you will work directly with an experienced financial adviser and have a genuine influence on the client experience and how the practice operates. With no layers of management, good ideas can be discussed and implemented quickly. For the right person, this is an opportunity to build a trusted and visible role within a professional, client-focused business rather than simply completing tasks behind the scenes.

Please note, Candidates must be authorised to work in the UK.
