Spider is advertising on behalf of a leading privately owned cabling and infrastructure solutions provider who is looking for a Qualified Electrician to join their newly formed electrical division covering Dartford and the wider Kent area on a full-time permanent basis!
Fantastic company package includes:
- Salary: A competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
- Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays (plus an extra ½ day for your birthday after 1 year)

About the role:
As a Qualified Electrician, you will deliver domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical services, playing a key role in the growth of a newly established division within a well-respected UK and European business. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with flexibility to ensure projects are completed.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installation & Maintenance: Install and maintain wiring, lighting, control systems, consumer units, and complete remedial works.
- Testing & Inspection: Carry out EICR testing, inspections, certification, and fault-finding to ensure compliance and safety.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work complies with BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations and industry standards.
- Business Support: Assist with site visits, preparing quotations and invoicing (with training) and contributing to new business development.
- Accreditation Support: Support the division in achieving and maintaining relevant industry accreditations.
About you:
As a Qualified Electrician, you will ideally have:
- 5+ years' experience as a fully qualified electrician with experience managing multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (BS 7671) to at least amendment 2 (2022), City & Guilds 2391 or EAL Level 3 (600/43388/6) (Testing & Inspection) is essential.
- Valid JIB/ECS Gold Card is preferred.
- Good understanding of the requirements of the N.I.C.I.E.C and be confident in driving the company towards gaining full approved contractor status and becoming the Q.S to represent the company at annual inspections.
- A strong understanding of BS 7671:2018 is essential.
- You must hold a full UK driving licence and either have your own van (fuel allowance provided) or be willing to use a company van.
