Spider is advertising on behalf of a professional engineering firm based in Dereham, Norfolk. Due to continuous growth, we are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Welder/Fabricator to join their team working on a variety of simple and complex fabrications within a well-established and respected engineering business.
Benefits
- Salary: £16-£18 per hour depending on experience plus overtime at time and a half.
- Holiday: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 3 full calendar years' service.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as a welder/fabricator, skilled in MIG and TIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel.
- Experience in safely using hand tools; knowledge of power tools and machinery advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to work well within a team, follow instructions accurately, demonstrate commitment to health and safety.
- Available for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00-4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Work on small- and large-scale projects.
- Interpret 3rd angle projection engineering drawings and manufacture small precision parts and larger fabrications.
- Carry out dressings and finishing work to a high quality.
- Ensure output complies with customer quality requirements; experience in self-inspection practices advantageous.
