Oldfield Accountancy & Advisory is looking for a highly organised, proactive Executive Assistant to support its Leadership Team on a full-time, permanent basis, based in Coventry, West Midlands.

About the role:

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level support to the Leadership Team, managing diaries, meetings, events, reports, projects and key deadlines while acting as a trusted link with the wider business. You will be proactive, commercially aware and highly organised, with the discretion to handle confidential information and the confidence to anticipate priorities, work independently and ensure tasks are followed through.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Manage Leadership Team calendars, meetings, appointments and priorities, ensuring schedules run smoothly
  • Prepare agendas, meeting papers, presentations and regular reports, ensuring accurate and timely information
  • Coordinate meetings, offsites, strategy days and client events, including venues, catering and technology
  • Take minutes, track actions and deadlines, and proactively follow up to ensure tasks are completed
  • Manage Leadership Team inboxes and act as a key communication link with the wider business
  • Support projects and ad hoc business requirements while handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion

About you:

To be a successful Executive Assistant, you will have proven experience providing executive or senior-level administrative support, ideally within a professional services or accountancy environment. You will be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities, with excellent communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong calendar management and minute-taking skills are essential, alongside excellent attention to detail, discretion and the ability to build effective relationships. You will be a confident problem-solver who can manage deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and take ownership of your workload.
