About the role:
The role of HR Administrator will be varied and fast-paced, you\’ll deliver invaluable support across a range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to an exceptional employee experience. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of HR activities, engaging in both reactive and proactive tasks that shape the workforce of a leading law firm. Your dedication and attention to detail will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards expected in this professional setting. Work hours will be 37.5 per week Monday – Friday 9 am – 5:30 pm working from their office in Colchester.
Responsibilities:
- Draft employment-related letters, maintain accurate HR records to ensure compliance and efficiency as well as note taking in formal meetings.
- Support complete recruitment cycle from conducting junior-level interviews to aid in building a talented workforce, manage probation reviews, oversee starter/leaver processes, and coordinate inductions to facilitate seamless onboarding and offboarding.
- Serve as the main contact and super user\’ for the HR system to enhance user experience and data integrity.
- Address day-to-day HR queries and provide solutions to enhance employee satisfaction.
- Support payroll, recruitment administration including producing regular HR reports (e.g., sickness, KPIs).
- Administer benefits, pensions, and annual leave processes, assist with salary reviews, bonus processes, and ad hoc HR projects.
About You:
As a HR Administrator you will be an organised and adaptable individual with proven experience in a busy administrative role. Whilst experience in a Human Resources environment is preferred, experience in a similar role, ideally within professional services, managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism is what we are looking for. You will possess excellent communication skills that enable you to interact effectively across the business. It is essential that you are proficient with Microsoft Office and can pick up IT systems that supports your daily tasks.
