Gas Engineer - Spider is advertising on behalf of a well-established and highly reputable, family-owned plumbing and heating service provider seeking an experienced Heating / Gas Engineer to join their friendly team. This full-time, permanent role covers West London , with standard daytime hours, Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends . Fantastic company benefits include: Salary: £55,000-£64,000 per annum , depending on experience Holiday: 25 days 8 bank holidays Benefits: Company pension, additional leave, uniform, PPE, mobile phone and a fully stocked work van to keep at home About the role As a Heating / Gas Engineer , your main role is to cover domestic heating jobs across West London, including Chiswick, Ealing, Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, Hammersmith, Chelsea and Bayswater.
Key responsibilities include:
Boiler replacements, Combi conversions, UHWSS, underfloor heating repairs, radiators, classic and smart thermostats. Fault-finding, diagnostic problem-solving, UHWSS services and repairs Boiler services and breakdown, Landlord Gas Safety Certificates About you You will be a qualified Gas Engineer / Heating Plumber with 10-15 years' experience , including at least 10 years' domestic gas work and strong fault-finding skills. Experience working in private residential properties is essential , alongside excellent customer service, a tidy, respectful approach and pride in quality workmanship.
You'll be physically fit, self-motivated and confident working independently or collaboratively, with good spoken and written English and a non-smoking lifestyle. A CCN1 Domestic Gas Safety qualification and UK work authorisation are essential. Applicants must live within a 30-minute drive of Chiswick .
