This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement and supply chain leader to take ownership of a high-performing function, shape its future strategy and make a genuine impact at senior management level.
As the Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Manager, you'll have full accountability for the supply and procurement function, leading a team of 13 across purchasing management, supervision and coordination.
The opportunityAs Senior Supply & Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering an effective supply and procurement strategy aligned to wider business objectives.
You'll have the opportunity to: Lead, develop and empower a strong purchasing team Take full ownership and accountability for the performance and output of the supply and procurement functionDevelop and implement supply and procurement strategies that support commercial and operational objectivesBuild strong, productive relationships with key suppliers and European manufacturing partnersLead supplier negotiations, commercial discussions and vendor performance managementWork collaboratively across multiple business areas to understand requirements and develop effective supply solutionsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, cost, quality and service.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the function.
Work closely with the Logistics function and wider operational teams to ensure effective stock availability and supply continuity.
About youWe're looking for an experienced senior procurement and supply chain professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.
You'll ideally bring: Significant senior-level experience across procurement and supply chain management.
Proven experience leading, developing and motivating teams. A strong and empathetic leadership style, with high levels of emotional intelligence.
Demonstrable procurement, supplier and vendor management expertise. A track record of delivering continuous improvement, ideally supported by Lean Six Sigma, Lead Auditor or similar methodology/experience.
The ability to develop strategy whilst remaining close enough to the detail to understand what is happening operationally.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who can lead from the front — able to set the strategic direction while engaging with the team, suppliers and stakeholders to make things happen.
