Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative – Spider is advertising on behalf of our client who is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative to join their depot in Knowsley, Liverpool on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday - Friday 06:30 am - Finish, minimum 45 hours per week.
Salary and benefits — Competitive salary: £30,420.00 per annum (£13.50 per hour plus overtime). Employee extras include Company pension, Wellness Programme, company events and networking opportunities, plus support in professional growth and career advancement.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Operating a forklift and engaging in manual handling activities (including container handballing) as required.
- Picking, packing, and tracking inventory while ensuring safe offloading and loading of cargo.
- Maintaining stock levels and assisting with goods in/out processes.
- Upholding a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in the warehouse and yard areas.
- Supporting the wider Pallet Network team during peak business periods.
About you / Qualifications
As a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative, you will be experienced in working in a warehouse. It is essential that you hold a valid FLT licence and are available to work from Monday to Friday, 06:30 AM to Finish, at their Liverpool depot. You should have relevant experience, good communication skills, be able to multi-task, and be flexible to working in a busy warehouse environment. You should be comfortable working with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines and operational protocols.
