About the role

We are looking for a high-energy, organised, and commercially driven Sales Executive - Trading Sales (Flat Pack Sales Specialist) to lead sales performance within our Flat Pack division. You will take ownership of day-to-day trading activity, ensuring all enquiries are handled quickly, accurately, and professionally, while delivering against sales targets and budgets. Based at Bacton Business Park, Stowmarket, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and play a key part in driving growth within a thriving, customer-focused business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Flat Pack sales activity, delivering revenue and margin performance in line with budgets and targets
  • Manage inbound enquiries across phone and digital channels, qualifying needs and converting opportunities
  • Generate outbound sales opportunities, including re-engaging prospects and developing new business
  • Manage and maintain the sales pipeline using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot), ensuring accurate forecasting
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring a smooth journey through to order completion
  • Work closely with operations and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Support marketing campaigns and contribute to product development through customer and market insights
  • Identify new sectors, partnerships, and routes to market to grow the Flat Pack offering
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, compliance, and customer service

Qualifications

As a Sales Executive - Trading Sales (Flat Pack Sales Specialist), you will have proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment (B2B, B2C, or both), with a strong track record of working towards targets and KPIs. You will be confident building rapport quickly, with an excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills. Highly organised and commercially aware, you will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and momentum. You will be IT literate and confident using CRM systems (HubSpot experience is advantageous), with a proactive, hands-on approach and resilience to thrive in a busy environment. A team-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments are essential.
