Oldfield Accountancy & Advisory are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Accountant to join their team in Coventry, West Midlands on a full-time, office-based basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

About the role:
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the senior accounting team with day-to-day financial activities. You will assist in the preparation of financial reports and tax returns while developing your technical knowledge and gaining valuable hands-on experience across a range of accounting functions.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including statutory, management, and charitable trust accounts.
- Support the preparation of tax returns for self-assessment, corporation, and partnership tax.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through clear and effective communication.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to clients, consulting senior accountants where appropriate.
- Ensure all work complies with legal accounting standards and is delivered accurately, on time, and within budget.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be proactive, detail-focused, and enthusiastic about a career in accounting and finance. You will have a strong willingness to learn, a good foundation in key tax areas, and a genuine desire to develop your skills and knowledge.
