Spider is advertising on behalf of a market-leading surface repair and restoration specialist, who has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Repair Technician/Trainee Repair Technician to join their busy team covering the Cambridge and Ipswich corridor. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent training and long-term career progression. You'll work with leading housebuilders and commercial clients, repairing and restoring a wide range of damaged surfaces - from baths to bricks, worktops to window frames - using specialist resurfacing and restoration techniques.

About the Role:

As a Repair Technician/Trainee Repair Technician, you'll receive hands‑on specialist training in repairing and refinishing materials including stone, brick, marble, metal, ceramic, plastic and enamel. You'll develop high‑quality resurfacing and restoration skills, taking pride in delivering excellent results and restoring damaged surfaces to a high standard. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm on site, plus travel time. Some weekend work may be required, paid as overtime.

About You:

As a Repair Technician/Trainee Repair Technician, you'll be practical, hands‑on and bring either experience, transferable skills or keen to learn a skilled trade. You'll bring a positive, self‑motivated attitude, strong attention to detail and a good eye for colour. You'll enjoy varied work and be committed to completing your NVQ Level 2 qualification. Due to fleet insurance requirements, applicants must be over 25 years old and hold a clean driving licence.
