Key Responsibilities
- Plan and route transport operations, including container shunting, full loads and multi-drop deliveries, ensuring efficient fleet utilisation and cost-effective subcontracting.
- Coordinate drivers, vehicles and contractors to ensure smooth and timely execution of transport activities.
- Liaise with customers to meet requirements, provide updates and resolve issues or delays promptly.
- Monitor daily operations, including vehicle defects (VOR), and maintain effective communication across teams and warehouse functions.
- Maintain high operational standards by addressing concerns, escalating where needed, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Late shift rotation would be on call at night.
