Due to recent expansion of its Land Rover product range significantly, including steering boxes, steering pumps, differentials, gearboxes, and transfer cases, they are now seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Automotive Parts Sales Advisor to join their experienced engineering‑led Parts Team on a full‑time, permanent basis in North Walsham, Norfolk.

About the role:
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Automotive Parts Sales Advisor to support customers across the expanding Land Rover product range alongside their established truck, bus, commercial vehicle, and automotive aftermarket sectors. You will play a key role in supporting customers, processing enquiries and orders, identifying vehicle parts and assisting with the smooth running of the engineering‑led Parts Department. This is a varied office‑based role offering long‑term stability and development within a well‑established engineering business. Working hours for this role are 39 per week, Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm and Friday 8:30am–4:00pm with no weekend working and an early Friday finish.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and efficient manner
- Identify vehicle parts using internal systems and specialist parts lookup software
- Promote and sell PSS products to new and existing customers
- Process incoming core and repair units accurately
- Prepare shipping paperwork and dispatch documentation
- Liaise with transport companies regarding deliveries and collections
- Support packing and dispatch operations when required
- Assist with the day‑to‑day running of the Parts Department
About you:
As an Automotive Parts Sales Advisor, you will have strong communication and customer service skills with a confident telephone manner and excellent attention to detail. You will be comfortable using computer systems and enjoy working as part of a team within a thriving workplace. Experience within automotive remanufacturing, engineering, an automotive parts department, motor factor, commercial vehicle environment, or automotive aftermarket business would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Any technical knowledge relating to steering, drivetrain, hydraulic, or mechanical systems would also be beneficial but is not essential. You will be positive, willing to learn, and motivated to build a long‑term career within the automotive aftermarket industry.
