About the role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining their advanced facility. Your primary objective will be to ensure the seamless operation of their plant machinery, contributing to their mission of efficient waste management. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, quick troubleshooting, and minimising downtime, allowing them to serve their community better than ever before.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with OEM specifications and meticulously record data in their CMMS.
- Monitor, engage, and support operational staff to ensure safety and efficiency across shifts.
- Adhere to and uphold health and safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
- Provide immediate support to operators as needed and oversee timely plant repairs.
- Collaborate with the cleaning team to monitor and maintain performance standards.
- Step into the role of team leader during their absence, fostering a collaborative environment, as well as mentoring junior team members to promote training, compliance, and a culture of continuous improvement.
