Weβre looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Mallusk, Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland on a permanent basis.

About the role:
As the Logistics Coordinator you will play a vital role in the storage and distribution of our goods. Working closely with our Depot Manager, you will supervise and manage the daily activities of a team of 6 Drivers, ensuring the seamless flow of logistics operations and plan routes to optimise delivery times and reduce costs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and manage transport orders, strategically planning both import deliveries and export collections.
- Utilise IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of trailers with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated with relevant legislation and ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist the Depot Manager in maintaining metrics and data analysis to assess performance and implement improvements.
About you:
They are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Logistics Coordinator who is able to multitask and maintain calm under pressure. You will have experience of supervising transport operations and possess a valid FLT licence (essential) and a driving licence (preferred).
