Events Manager – Spider is advertising on behalf of a client who is seeking an exceptional Events Manager, to join their team on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, in this full-time, permanent position.

About the role
As the Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role within their senior management team, continuing to build upon their existing successful events such as their Christmas, PYO Sunflower and Pumpkin events as well as develop, coordinate, and implement new public-facing events across the Estate. Working hours for this role will vary throughout the week to accommodate the estate’s events and operational needs.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and execution of a year-round events programme that aligns with their mission and financial objectives.
- Monitor budgets, manage costs, and ensure profitability for all events while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
- Recruit, train, and motivate the Event management team, fostering a culture of excellence in customer service and team morale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance public engagement and broaden the Estate\'s outreach.
- Prepare insightful reports for the Estate Manager, tracking progress and financial performance against established objectives.
About you
You are a detail-oriented Events Manager, a creative thinker with a proven track record in managing successful events, including outdoor events, as a Senior Event Coordinator or Assistant Event Manager, who is looking to take the next step up the career ladder. Your strong communication skills allow you to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. You are adept at social media management and have a keen eye for content creation. With a passion for staying current on industry trends, you excel in delivering exceptional customer experiences and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. A clean driving licence is essential for this role, enabling you to easily navigate our beautiful estate and beyond.
