Our clients are looking for Home Care Assistants to join our community team for Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas from Shoebury to Hockley to Benfleet and everywhere in-between on a permanent basis.
Flexible Hours: Shifts available between 7am – 2pm and 4pm – 10pm Monday to Sunday, which will include 2 weekend days a month.

About the role: As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those in your care. Your compassion and dedication will shine as you provide support and companionship to individuals in need whilst preserving their dignity, privacy, independence and rights. Our clients are looking for team players who can work as a lone worker or with another team member, reporting into a Care Supervisor. It is essential for this role that you hold a driving licence and access to a car for work, as well as willingness to undertake enhanced DBS check.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement personalised care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate any changes to the care team.
- Engage clients in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to enhance their quality of life.
About you: As a Care Assistant, you will be a compassionate and reliable individual with a genuine desire to help others. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You possess a positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of clients. No experience? No problem, full training will be given and support for NVQ qualifications in Health Care, as long as you have the willingness to undertake relevant skills training and personal development.
