About the role
As a Refrigeration Service Manager you will manage and develop a team of refrigeration engineers and support staff, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of refrigeration engineers and support staff, overseeing daily operations, scheduling, resource planning, and workloads.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, F‑Gas regulations, and company procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service and resolving escalated issues.
- Monitor departmental performance, including KPIs, budgets, and service quality, driving business growth and continuous improvement.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of the service team, building a skilled and high‑performing workforce.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, using Microsoft Office 365 and other systems to manage operations efficiently.
About you
You will have strong background in a similar leadership/management role and possess the technical ‘hands‑on’ knowledge needed to manage and build on internal and external relationships. You will be highly organised, able to manage priorities and deadlines effectively, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service. You will hold relevant refrigeration qualifications, including F‑Gas and City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 in refrigeration, and be proactive in resolving issues. A full UK driving licence is required.
