Consultancy Project Managers, with a strong focus in both Private & Public Sectors. Our projects range in value from £6m to £430m and are with a variety of high profile clients in the commercial, infrastructure and public sector giving our Project Managers a diverse and exciting workload. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals looking to work in a growing, dynamic and sociable office and wanting to develop quickly in a supportive environment.

Working on high-end residential, museums, movie sets, sports parks…. 4.5 day working week Bonus share of company success. Full APC support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality project and programme management standards across the whole project lifecycle;
  • Advise clients on the project cost, programme, risks and issues;
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary professional teams;
  • Lead communications and relationships with clients and their stakeholders;
  • Implement effective and efficient communication tools;
  • Have an up-to-date and developing knowledge of a range of building contract forms including JCT and NEC;
  • Experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Experience in the adoption and management best practice Project Management techniques;
  • Experience of both pre and post contract Project Management responsibilities and be able to deliver this service effectively to Clients;
  • The ability to manage a project throughout its lifecycle;
  • Proven track record to lead projects for or on behalf of local or private developers or local authorities;
  • Good understanding of the roles of employer’s agent and contract administrator during the construction phase;
  • Demonstrate leadership skills necessary to direct and manage the project team having responsibility, under minimum supervision, delivering projects; including pre and post project stages;
  • Hold or be working towards RICS Qualified or similar Project Management Qualification.

The Individual:

  • Numerate;
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator and confident talking in a meeting environment;
  • Ability to work and contribute as part of a team;
  • Car Driver.

Desirable but not essential attributes:

  • Experienced in using Microsoft Projects or similar;
  • Working towards or holds MRICS;
  • Experience in developing client relationships and opportunities on further scope or new projects.
