The Mission: ADHD & Autism Support

In the UK, nearly 1 million people are currently on waitlists for Autism or ADHD assessments. Half of them are children. These families are often at breaking point, feeling desperate and overwhelmed for years, with nothing out there to help. We have built an AI platform designed to provide immediate, evidence-based support the moment it’s needed. We aren’t just building an app; we are building a lifeline.

The Role

You’ll own the entire product design function. You’ll work directly with our CEO and Tech Lead, shaping product strategy through user research and delivering pixel-perfect mobile experiences.

You’ll:

  • Own subscription and retention KPIs
  • Run Continuous Discovery (3+ interviews per week, diary studies, usability tests, session replays, analytics) with neurodivergent families and organisations that serve them (eg NHS, local authorities, schools, charities)
  • Run experiments to test assumptions (desirability, usability, feasibility, business viability, ethics)
  • Synthesise research data into actionable insights
  • Drive product experience development
  • Design flow level User Experience
  • Design User Interface for accessible desktop (web) and mobile experiences (iOS & Android)
  • Manage our design system, component library and brand book
  • Document acceptance criteria for engineers

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Solid understanding of behavioural psychology
  • Senior product design experience with strong portfolio (user research → shipped products)
  • User research experience (interviews, usability testing, analytics)
  • Mobile app design experience (iOS/Android)
  • Expert Figma skills (design systems, components, prototyping, pixel perfect UI)
  • Thrives working autonomously in early-stage, ambiguous environments

Nice to have:

  • Healthcare/regulated industry experience (medical devices, digital health)
  • Accessibility expertise (WCAG AA, designing for stressed neurodivergent users)
  • Startup experience
  • Continuous Discovery frameworks
  • AI/LLM product experience

Practical Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Available for a minimum 2 days per week in our Bristol office
  • DBS check (we will support you through this process)
