We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Oxford‑based MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) team. This role offers the chance to manage projects from concept to detailed design, delivering high‑quality mechanical building services solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical building services design and project delivery.
  • Mentor junior engineers and supervise their work.
  • Use CAD and BIM (Revit) to model and design systems.
  • Conduct mechanical design calculations and produce drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, surveyors, and contractors.

Requirements

  • Mechanical building services design experience (consultant or contractor).
  • Relevant degree or higher qualification (HNC/HND acceptable).
  • Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) Engineer status achieved or in progress.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
