We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Oxford-based MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) team. This role offers the chance to manage projects from concept to detailed design, delivering high-quality mechanical building services solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical building services design and project delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and supervise their work.
- Use CAD and BIM (Revit) to model and design systems.
- Conduct mechanical design calculations and produce drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, surveyors, and contractors.
- Support construction stage activities, including site inspections.
Requirements
- Mechanical building services design experience (consultant or contractor).
- Relevant degree or higher qualification (HNC/HND acceptable).
- Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) Engineer status achieved or in progress.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
