Some of the best work in a building never gets noticed. The door that closes perfectly, the partition that sits dead straight, the finish that still looks sharp years later. If that's the standard you hold yourself to, this one's for you. We're recruiting for a respected national building services contractor, looking for a skilled Joiner to work on the projects side of their largest and most prestigious account, a major national transport operator. This isn't a service and maintenance role. You'll be working across a range of projects on the account, bringing real craftsmanship to refurbishment and improvement works on busy, live, operational sites. THE ROLE - Carrying out a wide range of joinery on project works, from fitting and finishing to installing and building bespoke items - Working from drawings and specifications, and taking pride in producing neat, accurate results - Moving between different projects and sites, so there's plenty of variety and you won't be doing the same job twice - Working safely and considerately in active transport environments, alongside other trades and the customer's teams - Keeping your tools and materials in good order and passing clear updates back to the project team WHO WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM - Time-served joiner, or equivalent qualification, with solid commercial or industrial project experience - A strong eye for detail and a real focus on quality of finish - Confident reading drawings and working independently as well as part of a team - Relevant site credentials such as CSCS card, and a good understanding of safe working practices - A full UK driving licence WHAT'S ON OFFER - A salary of £40,000, with a company van and benefits - The chance to work on a flagship national contract with long-term stability and a steady pipeline of projects - Genuine variety, with different projects and sites rather than a fixed patch - A supportive, well-established employer that values quality workmanship If you're a joiner who'd like your work on show across a flagship account, send me your up-to-date CV and I'll give you a call for a confidential chat about the role
