Are you an experienced Plumber looking for a permanent role with a growing and forward-thinking contractor? We are working with one of the UK's leading providers of property maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit services, to recruit a Plumber to join their team covering the Cornwall area on a reactive basis.
The Role
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing works across occupied and void social housing properties. From diagnosing faults to completing installations and repairs, you'll play a key role in maintaining homes to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing inspections and diagnose faults within residential properties
- Repair and replace defective plumbing systems, including pipework, taps, toilets, sinks, radiators and water heaters
- Install new plumbing fixtures and systems where required
- Complete plumbing works within void properties to prepare homes for new tenants
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works
- Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations, Water Regulations and Health & Safety legislation
- Liaise with tenants, colleagues, subcontractors and housing teams to ensure work is completed efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of completed works and materials used
- Deliver excellent customer service while working within occupied homes
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time and to a high standard
About You
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Plumber within residential or property maintenance environments
- Strong understanding of current Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IT literate

Please note that employees are subject to background, identity and security checks. A clean driving license, or 3 points maximum is preferred due to insurance requirements. There is an on call rota which you will be a part of, however you will receive a rate uplift for this.
