Junior Quantity Surveyor Truro Permanent Sphere solutions are recruiting for an ambitious, driven Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a commercial team in Truro. Working alongside an experienced Senior QS, you will gain hands-on experience across the full commercial lifecycle of core projects, which focus on new build housing and groundworks. Key Responsibilities Working closely with the Senior QS, you will assist with commercial duties, including: * Supporting bid preparation and estimating costs. * Engaging with sub-contractors and issuing tender packages. * Performing take-offs and carrying out site valuations. * Assisting with invoicing, payment applications, reconciliations, and final account settlements. * Attending sites across the local area to monitor progress What We’re Looking For * Recent graduate in Quantity Surveying, or a related Construction field * Bright, proactive, and keen to learn with a great work ethic and strong communication skills. OR * ~1+ years of experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role. * Solid working understanding of full commercial duties * Ability to work with autonomy on day-to-day tasks. Requirements * Full UK driving * Proficient in Excel and comfortable using electronic document/drawing platforms such as Procure.
