Are you an experienced Groundworker looking for a secure, permanent role with a growing and forward-thinking contractor? We are working with one of the UK's leading providers of property maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit services, to recruit a Groundworker to join their team covering the Cornwall area.
Working within the Social Housing and Public Sector, you will carry out a wide variety of groundwork and external maintenance works, helping to improve homes and communities across the region.
- Carry out all aspects of groundwork on domestic and social housing properties
- Remove, repair and relay paving, slabs and flagstones
- Prepare and lay new concrete paths, ramps and footings
- Excavate trenches, holes and foundations as required
- Identify and rectify defects to external groundworks
- Operate hand tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to deliver projects on time
- Provide excellent customer service when working in occupied properties
About You:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker
- Experience working on construction sites and domestic properties
- Ability to carry out physically demanding work
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IT Literate

Please note that employees are subject to background, identity and security checks. A clean driving license, or 3 points maximum is preferred due to insurance requirements. There is an on-call rota which you will be a part of, however you will receive a rate uplift for this.
