Sphere Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a small works refurbishment and fit-out project at a DWP Job Centre in Trowbridge.
The role will involve managing the day-to-day construction activities on site, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring the works are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily running of the construction site.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
- Oversee refurbishment, fit-out and small works packages.
- Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and RAMS.
- Monitor programme, quality and site progress.
- Manage site logistics, deliveries and materials.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, client and wider project team.
- Complete site records, inspections and relevant documentation.
- Manage snagging and handover through to completion.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment, fit-out or small works projects.
- SMSTS – essential.
- CSCS – essential.
- First Aid – essential.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Good subcontractor and programme management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
