We are seeking several skilled Industrial Electricians to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, the ability to work safely with various tools, and a commitment to ensuring operational efficiency. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant experience to contribute to our ongoing success.
Duties:
- Carrying out the installation of cable containment systems, including cable tray, ladder rack, and Unistrut support frames.
- Installation of SWA cables, including cable routing, cleating, glanding, and termination at equipment and panels.
- Works will be carried out across both high-level and low-level areas within the nickel refinery.
- Access equipment will be required, and IPAF certification is essential for all operatives involved in MEWP operations.
- All works will be completed in accordance with site safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and relevant industry standards.
- Operatives will be expected to comply with refinery rules, including PPE requirements, housekeeping standards, and working in operational industrial environments.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrician within an industrial environment is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial control systems and wiring practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams effectively.
- ECS Card.
- CCNSG.
- IPAF.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and regulations in a high-risk environment.
