We are recruiting for an experienced High Voltage Project Manager to join a growing engineering contractor delivering major power infrastructure projects across the UK.

Working across projects ranging from 11kV to 132kV, you'll take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of substations, grid connections, renewable energy developments, BESS, and industrial power projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage HV projects from pre-construction through to handover
  • Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
  • Manage project programmes and resource planning
  • Coordinate engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work closely with DNOs, ICPs, IDNOs, and stakeholders
  • Monitor commercial performance and project costs
  • Support change management and project variations
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and CDM Regulations
  • Chair project meetings and provide progress updates
  • Produce project reports and forecasts
About You
  • Proven experience managing HV projects (11kV–132kV)
  • Background within utilities, power, renewables, or infrastructure
  • Experience delivering substations and grid connection projects
  • Strong commercial and programme management skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and commissioning
  • Client-focused with excellent stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
  • HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent industry experience
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • AP, SAP, IOSH, or NEBOSH qualifications advantageous
