An opportunity has arisen for a QA Engineer to join the project delivery team on a high-profile, flagship construction project in Bridgwater, Somerset. This role offers the chance to gain experience on a large, technically complex scheme, supporting the delivery of high-quality construction works in line with client and contractual requirements. The successful candidate will support the Senior QA Engineer in the day-to-day implementation of quality assurance processes on site, carrying out inspections, maintaining quality records, and ensuring works are completed in accordance with approved procedures.

The Role:

  • Carry out quality assurance inspections and checks in line with project procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and specifications.
  • Support the implementation of the Project Quality Plan under the direction of the Senior QA Engineer.
  • Ensure pre-pour, civils, drainage, and associated quality records are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Record inspection results, raise quality observations, and assist in the management of non-conformances (NCRs).
  • Provide clear feedback to the Senior QA Engineer on inspection findings and quality issues.
  • Review method statements and quality documentation relevant to assigned works.
  • Liaise with site teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
