We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a busy project team working at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor working on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, supporting document management processes and ensuring information is controlled and accessible to the relevant project teams.

The Role

  • Manage the receipt, distribution, tracking and filing of project documentation.
  • Maintain document registers and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure documents are correctly numbered, version controlled and issued in accordance with project procedures.
  • Upload and manage documentation through relevant document management systems.
  • Coordinate the review and approval of technical and project documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding documents and follow up with relevant teams to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems and ensure documentation is readily available for audits.
  • Assist with project reporting, document searches and general administration as required.
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders as necessary.
