Location: Newport, South Wales

Duration: 6 Months

Daily Rate: £330 CIS

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the commercial office fit-out phase of a new build data centre project in Newport. This is a 6-month contract with an immediate start, managing the internal fit-out of office and ancillary spaces within a large-scale data centre development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations for the commercial office fit-out works
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Oversee quality control and ensure high standards of workmanship
• Maintain site health & safety compliance and lead site inductions/toolbox talks
• Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager
• Manage logistics, materials deliveries, and site documentation
• Ensure works are delivered in line with client requirements and project timelines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects
• Experience managing office fit-out or CAT A / CAT B works
• Strong subcontractor coordination and site management skills
• Excellent xlqdzyr knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures
• Ability to drive programme and maintain quality standards

Qualifications

• SMSTS (essential)
• CSCS Card (essential)
• First Aid at Work (preferred)
