We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a £3 million school development project in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable main contractor delivering high-quality education projects across the South West. The Role: As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring that works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You will be working in a live school environment, so professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the full construction process, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. * Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives. * Monitor progress, quality, and programme delivery. * Manage site documentation, including RAMS, inductions, and progress reports. * Liaise with school representatives, local authorities, and the project team to ensure minimal disruption to school activities. * Maintain strict safeguarding procedures at all times.
