Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Newport £75K – £80K + Package I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a reputable subcontractor in Newport on a permanent contract. Our client specialise heavily in RC frame. Duties and responsibilities will Include. * Experience 10+years as a QS, with knowledge of Reinforced concrete Frames and Structures. * Liaise with Pre-con, and Construction teams to build-up and review Tenders * Evaluate and act upon tender information and develop an appropriate bid/procurement strategy with other members of the team. * Obtaining quotes and Procurement of materials, suppliers & sub-contractors * Competent in estimating and producing CE’s * Prepare BQs and Take-offs * Prepare and deliver CVR’s to Senior Management. * Project Cost Control * Manage Project specific financials, from reviewing contracts to Final account stage. * Knowledge and experience working with NEC & JCT contracts * Deal with contractual and legal matters that arise on the projects. * Liaise with clients on a regular basis to secure future projects. * Competitive salary and benefits package If you are interested and want further details, please don’t hesitate to get in touch
