We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Site Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong management skills and supervising experience to lead complex projects within a dynamic environment. Must have groundworks experience as the project has only just started. This could lead on to long term work, starting ASAP, based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, paying between £380 - £400 per day PAYE only.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the daily operations of construction sites, including resource allocation and workflow management.
- Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any site-related concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment at all times.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues for senior management review.
- Previous experience with a Tier 1 contractor.
- Previous experience on education projects such as schools or universities.
