Project Manager South Wales Permanent Salary Benefits Package As a Project Manager at, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects from inception to completion. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure that projects meet our high standards for safety, quality, and sustainability. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you’ll balance technical expertise with strong leadership to deliver on time, on budget, and to specification. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage all phases of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements, contract terms, and company standards. * Maintain a consistent focus on safety and quality, embedding best practices and ensuring all team members and contractors comply with HSEQ procedures. * Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and risk registers. * Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones. * Act as the main client liaison, ensuring open communication, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly. * Oversee health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance on-site, working closely with the SHEQ team. * Chair regular project progress meetings and produce accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders. * Ensure timely procurement of resources, materials, and plant to support delivery. Essential: * Proven experience in project management within civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction. * Strong understanding of NEC and/or other relevant forms of contract. * Demonstrable track record of delivering projects to the highest safety and quality standards. * Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills. * Proficient in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and reporting tools. * Strong commercial and financial awareness. * Full UK driving licence. Desirable: * Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline. * Membership of a professional body (e.g., ICE, CIOB). * SMSTS and First Aid at Work certification.
