Healthcare Project | Immediate Start | 12-Month Contract

Location: RCT

Rate: £350-£400/day CIS

Duration: 12 Months+

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 6:00pm (12-hour shifts)

Sphere Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Site Manager to join a major healthcare construction project on a long-term freelance basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile healthcare development, managing key civils and infrastructure packages from commencement through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations across civil engineering and infrastructure works.
  • Manage subcontractors, direct labour and plant resources.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
  • Coordinate drainage, utilities, roads, external works and associated infrastructure packages.
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and health & safety audits.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and design teams.
  • Manage quality control, programme updates and site reporting.
  • Drive productivity whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on major civil engineering, infrastructure or healthcare projects.
  • Strong background in groundworks, drainage, utilities, highways or external works.
  • SMSTS
  • Black CSCS Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work fronts.

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 6 Site Management or equivalent.
  • Experience working on hospital or healthcare developments.
  • Temporary Works knowledge.
  • Utilities or infrastructure project experience.
