The Role: Health & Safety Advisor
As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will support the H&S Manager and site teams, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Safety Inspections – Conduct regular site visits, monitoring compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) – preparing and reviewing RAMS, ensuring site teams adhere to best practices.
- Incident Reporting & Investigation – Support the reporting, investigation, and resolution of accidents and near misses.
- Toolbox Talks & Training – Deliver health & safety briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks to site personnel.
- Compliance & Auditing – Ensure HSE legislation and company policies are being followed across all projects.
- Support & Advice – Provide guidance to site managers and operatives, helping to maintain a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- SMSTS & CSCS Card – Essential for this role.
- NEBOSH Qualification
- Previous experience in a health & safety role within construction, groundworks, or civil engineering.
- Full UK Driving Licence – Required, as you will be travelling between sites.
- IT literate is a must
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage site teams and promote safety best practices.
