Site Manager – High Rise Recladding Project Location: Cardiff Bay Contract: Freelance CIS available Start Date: IASAP We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a major high-rise residential recladding project for a leading tier 1 contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant building safety and façade remediation scheme, overseeing the safe delivery of external envelope works on an occupied apartment development. Key Responsibilities: * Day-to-day management of site operations * Coordination of subcontractors and specialist façade contractors * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards * Managing health & safety compliance, site inspections, and reporting * Liaising with residents, client representatives, consultants, and project stakeholders * Monitoring progress against programme and resolving site issues proactively * Managing permits, RAMS, quality inspections, and handovers Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager workin for a main contractor * Previous recladding, remediation, external envelope, façade, EWS1, or fire safety project experience preferred but not essential * Experience using Fieldglass or similar contractor management/compliance systems is essential * Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and quality assurance processes * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates required * Excellent communication and organisational skills What's on Offer: * Immediate start available * Long-term project pipeline -upto 24 months work * Opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering critical building safety works If you have experience working for a main contractor and are available for your next challenge, we would like to hear from you
