Newquay 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Up to £60,000 + Benefits Sphere Solutions are working with a well-established development and regeneration contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Newquay.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery of refurbishment and regeneration projects
- Prepare cost plans, valuations, forecasts and monthly cost reports
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages
- Negotiate subcontract agreements and manage contract administration
- Assess subcontractor applications, variations and final accounts
- Prepare and submit applications for payment
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow and commercial performance
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Support project teams to achieve successful commercial outcomes
About You
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor or refurbishment contractor
- Experience delivering refurbishment, regeneration or commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
