We are currently recruiting for experienced Kitchens & Bathrooms Supervisor to oversee planned refurbishment works within the social housing sector. Role Overview
As Kitchens & Bathrooms Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities across multiple properties, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of finish. You will coordinate directly with operatives, subcontractors, tenants, and contract managers to ensure smooth delivery of refurbishment programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works across social housing properties
- Manage site operatives and subcontractors on planned maintenance contracts
- Ensure all works are completed to specification, schedule, and quality standards
- Carry out pre- and post-inspections of works
- Maintain health & safety compliance, including RAMS and site audits
- Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and site management teams
- Monitor materials, deliveries, and site logistics
- Resolve site issues quickly and effectively to minimise delays
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience in kitchens and bathrooms supervision (social housing or refurbishment environment essential)
- Strong understanding of planned maintenance / retrofit programmes
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety standards on occupied sites
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and subcontractors simultaneously
- Strong communication and tenant liaison skills
- SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
