Are you passionate about health & safety and looking to develop your career in the groundworks and infrastructure sector? Do you have SMSTS, CSCS, and ideally NEBOSH (though not essential)? Responsibilities

• Support the H&S Manager and site teams to ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
• Site Safety Inspections – Conduct regular site visits, monitoring compliance with health & safety regulations.
• RAMS – Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments & Method Statements, ensuring site teams adhere to best practices.
• Incident Reporting & Investigation – Support the reporting, investigation, and resolution of accidents and near misses.
• Toolbox Talks & Training – Deliver health & safety briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks to site personnel.
• Compliance & Auditing – Ensure HSE legislation and company policies are being followed across all projects.
• Support & Advice – Provide guidance to site managers and operatives, helping to maintain a safe working environment.

What We\’re Looking For

• SMSTS & CSCS Card – Essential for this role.
• NEBOSH Qualification – Preferred but not essential (willing to support the right candidate with training).
• Previous experience in a health & safety role within construction, groundworks, or civil engineering.
• Full UK Driving Licence – Required, as you will be travelling between sites.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage site teams and promote safety best practices.
