We are seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to take full site responsibility for a £1.3m commercial fit‑out project located in London Bridge. The project comprises a 5‑floor refurbishment and fit‑out, delivering a high-quality commercial workspace to a tight programme. You will be the lead on-site, managing all day-to-day operations from strip-out through to handover, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility as No.1 Site Manager on a live commercial fit‑out project
- Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, labour, and suppliers
- Oversee programme, quality, and health & safety on site
- Chair daily briefings and subcontractor meetings
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and RAMS
- Maintain strong communication with Project Manager, client, and design team
- Manage site paperwork including daily logs, inductions, permits, and inspections
- Drive the project through to practical completion and handover
Requirements
- Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on commercial fit‑out projects
- Strong background in CAT A / CAT B / office fit‑out environments
- Experience managing multi-floor projects in central London
- SMSTS, First Aid at Work & CSCS (Black or Gold preferred)
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding programmes
