I am working with a well-known local modular contractor to recruit a Foreman to join an exciting project in Newquay on a fixed term basis. You will work with a reputable main contractor, to assist with the delivery of a multi-million pound internal package of modular accommodation block build Responsibilities will include: * Supervision of sub-contractors and all labour, ensuring maximum productivity * Ensuring on site Health & Safety is adhered to * Reporting to the Site Manager, you will report on work schedules and progress, ensuring the projects is on time and within budget * Checking and monitoring quality and progress, trouble shooting and issues on site Candidate requirements: * Must have SMSTS / SSSTS CSCS & First Aid at Work * Trade background and understanding is a must * Diligent, hardworking and committed to the build. * DBS, BPSS & SC clearance will be required – my client cannot accept applications that require an oversea visa or have a dual nationality. * Must live local to Newquay. This role is initially only 6 months but there is the possibility to move to a new site after, although this may not be local. On offer is a salary up to £47,000 & car allowance, as well as other employed benefits.
