An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established, award-winning main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. This highly respected contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering commercial, education, healthcare and residential developments valued up to £30 million. With a strong order book and continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with a capable and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the commercial delivery of construction projects valued up to £30m
- Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans and forecasts
- Overseeing subcontractor procurement, negotiation and appointment
- Managing valuations, variations, and interim payments
- Producing cost reports and financial updates for senior management
- Ensuring effective contract administration (JCT contracts)
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team where required

Requirements
To be considered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you should have:
